Toronto Maple Leafs vs Ottawa Senators Game Recap
The Toronto Maple Leafs continued their domination of their Ontario counterparts from Ottawa, beating them for the 4 th time this season out of 6 games, en route to a 4-1 win last night.
Phil Kessel scored his 26 th of the season, while John Mitchell, Mikhail Grabovski, and Rickard Wallin all added singles. Andy Sutton replied for the Senators.
Jonas Gustavsson was great in the Leaf net, stopping 30 of 31 shots he faced.
This was the Leafs 4 th win in their last 5 games, but remain in last place in the Eastern Conference with a 24-34-12 record.
The Leafs get set for a 3 game homestand, beginning this Thursday night when they’ll welcome Martin Brodeur and the New Jersey Devils to the ACC.
