Chicago Blackhawks vs Columbus Blue Jackets Recap
The Chicago Blackhawks kept things interesting as Columbus battled back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period for a 4-3 lead Saturday. The Hawks didn't let their fans down as they held the Blue Jackets to just two shots through the first twelve minutes of the fourth period. Jonathan Toews was a big help as the captain shot the game-tying and eventual game winning goal along with an assist to bring the Hawks to a 6-5 victory.
Andrew Ladd, Marian Hossa and Troy Brower each had a goal and an assist and Ben Eager added a tally and tied for the most points in the league with 68.

Patrick Kane added three assists and Patrick Sharp added two for the Hawks. Cristobal Huet made 21 saves and it was his worst next-game performance. Huet entered the afternoon 2-1-0 with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage after shutouts. Today he surrendered five goals and had brought down his save percentage to .808.
The Blackhawks are 11-3-0 and have eight consecutive wins in the division. Their trip will eventually take them through Western Canada and California before ending in North Carolina.
