Blackhawks scalped by Senators
The Blackhawks' three game winning streak came to a halt Tuesday as they fell to the Ottawa Senators 4-1 at Scotiabank Place.
In their first five power plays, the Hawks were zero-of-five with a total of one shot on goal.
Marian Hossa scored his third short-handed goal of the season in the second period for, standing as the only puck they could get past Brian Elliot. Mike Fisher scored a power-play goal 16:45 into the third to
seal the win.

Hossa was chosen 12th overall by the Senators in the 1997 draft. With Ottawa, he had 188 goals and 202 assists for 390 points in 467 regular-season games from 1997-98 to 2003-04.
The Hawks entered tied with San Jose for No. 1 overall in the NHL with 72 points after beginning a season-high eight game trip, with a 30-18 advantage in shots. They were also tied with the Sharks for the league lead in short-handed goals and became the first team to reach eight this season. Hawks goaltender Cristobal Huet fell to 22-9-3 on the
season as Ottawa won its fourth in a row.
